Why convert SVGs?
Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) are excellent for logos and icons because they render sharply at any size. However, many older platforms, social media networks, and email clients do not support SVG uploads for security reasons. Our converter allows you to transform these vector files into universally accepted PNG or JPEG formats, maintaining perfect pixel clarity during the transition.
High-Resolution Upscaling
A simple 50x50 SVG icon can end up looking blurry if exported directly to PNG. With our built-in Upscale slider, you can multiply the intrinsic dimensions up to 10x before rasterizing. This means your tiny vector icon can be exported as a massive, ultra-crisp 500x500 PNG image perfectly suited for high-DPI (Retina) displays.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Are my SVG files uploaded and stored anywhere?
No. The conversion process happens entirely within your web browser using HTML5 Canvas technology. We do not upload, process, or store your vector files on any external servers. Your designs remain 100% private.
Q. Can I keep a transparent background?
Yes! Ensure you select "PNG" as the Output Format and check "Transparent" under the Background Color settings. Note that the JPEG format does not support transparency, so it will automatically be flattened with a white background.
Q. Why is my converted SVG image cut off?
This usually happens if the original SVG code is missing the viewBox attribute or explicit width and height properties. If you encounter this, try opening the SVG file in a text editor and adding standard dimensions to the root element.
